The new Transmission front plate combines the proven circular high-frequency system with a modern, square-shaped outer contour. Inspired by premium watch design, it creates an exciting interplay between clean geometry and soft curves. The rounded edges of the front plate perfectly match the radii of the cabinet, blending harmoniously into the overall design.

The high frequencies are handled by a premium BC ceramic dome tweeter, ensuring detailed, low-distortion playback. Together with the optimized waveguide, midrange and treble are perfectly aligned for uniform dispersion and a cohesive sound.

Controlled Bass Performance

The low-frequency system of the Vento 91 is designed for deep, controlled bass and precise transient response. Powerful woofers with ATB diaphragms operate within an optimally tuned enclosure volume to create a stable and clearly structured bass foundation. The lightweight wave surround enables high excursion with minimal moving mass, reducing efficiency losses. The downfire bass reflex system uses the proximity to the floor for highly efficient and even low-frequency dispersion. The system is further enhanced by Canton’s proprietary DC technology (Displacement Control). It reduces unwanted driver excursion caused by infrasonic frequencies below the audible range, effectively minimizing distortion. At the same time, the DC filter extends the usable low-frequency range and ensures particularly precise, controlled and tight bass reproduction.

Downfire: Bass That Integrates Seamlessly

The downfire bass reflex system uses floor proximity for highly efficient radiation. Low-frequency energy is maximized, while unwanted higher-frequency components are effectively reduced.
