Edgeless Innovation
With innovative round baffles crafted via specialized 5-axis CNC milling, Reference 5 speakers ensure acoustic stability and reduced resonance. Featuring dual 174 mm BCT woofers and a midrange driver in a separate enclosure, they deliver precise lows and finely resolved mids. The 25 mm BC tweeter guarantees detailed, cohesive highs, completing their dynamic sound spectrum.
BCT Diaphragms
Advanced BCT cones, blending aluminum and ceramic structures infused with tungsten, offer an ideal stiffness-to-weight ratio. The black midrange ceramic cone stabilizes and reduces resonances, ensuring distortion-free reproduction. Wave Beading technology in the Reference 5 enhances transient response, delivering smooth, precise sound even at high volumes.
WBT nextgen™ terminals
Featuring premium WBT nextgen™ connectors, Reference 5 speakers support bi-wiring and bi-amping for superior sound stability. Included hard-gold-plated copper bridges allow for single-wiring if desired. Featuring room compensation controls on the terminals, they allow precise midrange and tweeter adjustments in 1.5 dB steps, adapting to individual listening preferences and room acoustics.
