Edgeless Innovation

Taking note from the newest research, the Reference 2 implements edge-free cabinets, for optimal acoustics and stability. Crafted for modern elegance and superior sound, its four drivers are housed in a 3-chamber system, offering precise performance. With 219 mm woofers for deep bass, a 174 mm midrange driver for lifelike vocals, and a potent 25 mm black aluminum oxide ceramic dome tweeter, it is visually and acoustically exceptional.

Optimal Acoustics

The Reference 2 features flush-mounted drivers within a round baffle, enhanced by 3D ASW cover rings for optimal dispersion. The cabinets, crafted from multi-layer laminate, boast sophisticated damping and stiffening for resonance-free performance. With new crossovers employing epoxy resin-glass fabric composite and copper overlay, these speakers promise precise, high-quality sound without magnetic interference.

WBT nextgen™ terminals

Reference 2 speakers feature WBT's nextgen™ binding posts and gold-plated copper bridges, supporting single, bi-wiring, and bi-amping. Their low mass minimizes eddy currents, enhancing sound imaging. With an extended terminal plate offering level adjustments (Room Compensation), fine-tune midrange and tweeter sound pressure levels in 1.5 dB steps, optimizing for diverse room characteristics and listening positions.
