About Cambridge Audio CXN100 Network Streamer (Closeout / Mint)

The Cambridge Audio CXN100 network streamer features an ESS ES9028Q2M SABRE32 Reference DAC, the proprietary StreamMagic Gen4 module, and resolution support up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM and DSD512. Serving as the central digital hub for high-fidelity audio setups, this component bridges streaming platforms with flexible physical connectivity. It provides balanced XLR and RCA outputs, USB Type-B, optical, and coaxial digital inputs, along with AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Bluetooth 5.1, and Roon Ready functionality. A refined analog output stage eliminates post-DAC filtering to preserve signal purity, while a 4.76-inch color display shows vivid album artwork. Critical consensus highlights its significant step forward in audio resolution over its predecessor, earning enthusiastic acclaim from publications like What Hi-Fi? and Audiograde. Reviewers applaud its expansive soundstage, articulate timing, and sparkling clarity, noting how effortlessly it extracts low-level detail from high-res files. Critics praise the intuitive StreamMagic control app, celebrating its ability to deliver true audiophile performance. Integrating this streamer into your system elevates digital playback with exceptional clarity and seamless control. By establishing an uncompromised digital path, it allows your favorite recordings to reveal their full dynamic depth and musicality. For the enthusiast seeking modern streaming convenience and engaging sound, it provides the definitive digital foundation.
