Product Highlights

Finish is Rosenut

Bowers & Wilkins 803 D2: 90dB sensitivity, 35Hz–28kHz, 50W–500W recommended amplification, and 8 ohm impedance. Engineered to anchor reference-caliber systems, this three-way floorstanding loudspeaker commands large listening spaces with effortless dynamic authority. A free-mounted diamond dome tweeter rests atop the cabinet inside a tapered Nautilus tube, absorbing rearward radiation to maintain crystalline high-frequency purity. Midrange frequencies flow through a six-inch woven Kevlar FST surroundless cone that eliminates edge coloration, supported by three seven-inch Rohacell woofers for deep low-end control. The curved enclosure incorporates internal Matrix bracing alongside a dimpled Flowport to suppress resonance and eliminate air turbulence.

Critical consensus across prestigious audiophile publications celebrates this model for its studio-derived precision and holographic imaging. SoundStage Hi-Fi and veteran audio critics praise the diamond tweeter for delivering effortless high-frequency extension alongside a richly detailed, natural midrange. Reviewers also highlight the triple-woofer bass array, noting its fast, articulate impact and unflappable stability through challenging dynamic passages.

Welcoming this caliber of engineering into your home bridges the divide between standard hi-fi listening and true studio realism. Its cohesive driver integration and refined industrial design ensure that every recording unfolds with deep emotional impact and breathtaking spatial clarity.
