{"product_id":"borresen-x2-floorstanding-speakers-1","title":"Borresen X2 Floorstanding Speakers","description":"Børresen X2: 88dB sensitivity, 40Hz–50kHz, 50W or more recommended amplification, and \u0026gt; 4 ohm impedance. This 2.5-way floorstanding loudspeaker trickles down proprietary ribbon and carbon-driver technology from flagship models. It features a ribbon planar tweeter with an ultra-light moving mass for fast transient speed, paired with dual mid-bass drivers of laminated carbon fiber and aramid honeycomb. Housed in a heavily braced cabinet designed to eliminate distortion, it creates a warm, expansive soundstage and deep, well-textured bass.\n\nHighly decorated in the press, this series earned a Product of the Year award from Stereo+. Reviewers from Enjoy the Music and Steve Huff Photo praise it for punching well above its class, rivaling far pricier options. Critics laud the ribbon tweeter for detailed highs free from harshness, while the composite drivers provide punchy, deep low-end. Publications like Hi-Fi+ call it a revolution in quality, noting that the speakers easily disappear to project a vast soundstage.\n\nIntegrating these floorstanders into a setup provides an easy path to elite fidelity. Their forgiving design works smoothly with various room placements and a wide range of amplification, from modest integrated amps to high-end monoblocks. Crucially, they maintain full resolution, texture, and emotional depth even at low volumes. For the listener seeking a perfect blend of technical accuracy and musical soul, these speakers serve as an enduring centerpiece that uncovers the true magic of your recordings.","brand":"Borresen","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":67738817888537,"sku":"100566","price":6199.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0844\/4225\/1545\/files\/100566-8.jpg?v=1791916921","url":"https:\/\/tmraudio.com\/products\/borresen-x2-floorstanding-speakers-1","provider":"The Music Room","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
