Product Description:
The active SCM20ASLT incorporates a dedicated 250W Amp Pack, requiring only a suitable pre-amplifier, DAC/pre, or streaming pre-amp to deliver exceptional performance.
By replacing the passive crossover and external power amplifier of a conventional system, the SCM20ASLT’s precisely matched rear-mounted Amp Pack ensures optimal integration. A balanced input feeds a 2nd-order active electronic crossover, which then drives a pair of class A/B power amplifiers—each engineered to meet the exact demands of the mid/bass and high-frequency drivers.
This active architecture provides superior control, accuracy, and dynamic range, with crossovers offering enhanced precision in both level and timing, and amplifiers directly coupled to the drive units for maximum responsiveness.
The cabinet is heavily engineered for rigidity and neutrality, combining internal bracing with targeted damping to suppress resonance. Bitumastic panels are strategically applied to further minimize cabinet coloration.
