Product Highlights

The Accuphase DG-68 Digital Voicing Equalizer features 40-bit floating-point DSP processing, an eight-channel ESS ES9028PRO DAC array, quad 32-bit AKM A/D conversion, and resolutions up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM and 5.6MHz DSD via HS-Link alongside coaxial, optical, and balanced XLR connections. Engineered to deliver absolute acoustic authority, this reference room-correction processor eliminates acoustic anomalies to optimize loudspeaker performance in any domestic environment. An atypical high-definition IPS LCD touchscreen enables listeners to draw custom target response curves directly with a dedicated stylus pen. The 32.8-pound chassis also includes a calibrated AM-68 measurement microphone, an 80-band equalizer, a 67-band voicing filter, and thirty memory presets.

Stereophile honored the unit with its Digital Component of the Year award and secured its standing in the Class A Recommended Components list. Reviewers praise its transformational ability to resolve room reflections and modal peaks without compromising the organic warmth, dynamic impact, or spatial depth of complex recordings. Critics also commend the smooth interface and transparent signal paths, observing that it renders instruments with striking clarity and lifelike presence.

Adding this processor to your setup eliminates the acoustic boundary obstacles that compromise high-fidelity playback. It bridges the gap between acoustic perfection and living spaces, ensuring every performance reveals its complete emotional realism.
