Other Notes: A fantastic amplifier and a true piece of audiophile history in great condition.

"Very conservatively rated at 2x300W at 8 Ohm, which in reality would make 400-450W per channel. In every case this is enough drive to virtually any kind speaker of any impedance. It can drive a speaker rated just from 0.5Ohm and up! Each channel uses 12 heavy duty Motorola transistors (MJ type, 3 in a row on each heatsink) and a bank of massive General Electric power supply capacitors giving the 2300 enormous power reserves and almost idiot-proof operation. It looks kind of bulky but it sounds just so smooth like a good tube amplifier, rich and smooth. There is also a bonus - it will never, ever run out of steam, the power is always there when needed."
