Cosmetic Description: 8/10 Excellent condition with minimal visible cosmetic wear including a nick on top of the left handle, scratches on the left and right edges of the transformer covers and rub marks on top of the transformer covers of one amplifier. There is also a scuff on top of the vents near the back of the top of that unit. The other amplifier has a minuscule nick on the front left handle. Both amplifiers' binding post covers have holes cut into them to allow larger cables to be attached. These blemishes are not readily visible and do not detract from the overall wonderful appearance.

When driven by the C100/P100 one could not hope for a more detailed open airy sound with wonderful bass presence. Very neutral accurate reproduction of the source. Throw in a Mc CD Player and to me there simply is nothing better at any price. Maybe it is the Autoformer output but these MC1000's have a warmer more tube like sound than any other solid state amplifiers I have taken the time to listen to. The power meters are a very nice feature as you will never over drive your speakers unless you intend to do so." - User Review
