Nothing sounds like a triode tube amplifier, especially one loaded with a quartet of the famous 6C33C-B output tubes. Designed in a push-pull configuration, the VK-80t delivers 60 watts per channel in stereo or 120 watts when converted into a monoblock.

In addition, the fuse-less protection circuit in VK-80t is combined with a world-class automatic-bias circuit that eliminates the constant need to set and readjust the proper bias of the output tubes. No tubes to bias. No fuses to replace. It doesn’t get any easier!

The Legendary 6C33 Triode Output Tube

The powerhouse 6C33-CB output tubes were first discovered in a MiG-25 fighter jet where it was used to regulate the power supply of the primary radio. The tube was made to be incredibly rugged, able to withstand an EMP attack and several G-forces.

BAT has expertly applied the 6C33 in tube amplifiers for over 20 years. When used with our custom-made output transformers the sound this amp makes will surprise you. This isn’t your grandfather’s tube amp!

BAT’s unique Intelligent Auto-Bias and Fuseless Protection circuit, originally designed for the top-of-the-line REX series, makes the VK-80t as easy to operate as a solid-state amplifier. You never need to get out the multi-meter, fuses, or tools. Just turn it on, warm it up, and play.

The VK-80t supports Low, Medium, and High impedance loudspeakers to achieve maximum compatibility with any loudspeaker. If you ever feel the need for even more power, the VK-80t can easily be upgraded from a stereo to monoblock amplifier to double the power.
