The Reference 9 merges over 50 years of speaker expertise into compact, acoustically pristine speakers. Equipped with technology borrowed from floorstanding speakers, they feature a large mid-bass driver ideal for larger rooms. Incorporating a unique bass guide within the speaker base, these 2-way speakers provide exceptional sound from their compact cabinets.
BCT Diaphragms
Reference 9 compact speakers feature 174 mm BCT (Black Ceramic Tungsten) cones for precise low and midrange reproduction. Blending aluminum and ceramic structures that are infused with tungsten, these offer an ideal stiffness-to-weight ratio. The 25 mm BC tweeter enhances detailed sound quality, complemented by a precisely designed crossover. Equipped with WBT nextgen™ terminals and RC technology for sensitive tweeter adjustment, offering adaptable, high-quality sound.
Premium Construction
Crafted in Weilrod, Germany, the Reference 9s use meticulously designed cabinets for optimal sound. Featuring rounded edges to reduce diffraction effects and computer-optimized chamber systems to prevent resonance, they're finished in a striking high-gloss "Black Piano" or an elegant "White Satin." Magnetic fabric covers complete their noble appearance.
