Cosmetic Description: 7/10 Very good cosmetic condition with some minor visible cosmetic wear including a crack and weakening of the bottom right corner of the front faceplate, a very slight separation of the left end piece on the front faceplate, one missing handle on the back plate, a slight indent on the back right corner of the amplifier from an impact which pressed the cover into two internal screws causing them to protrude, and a scuff on the top of the amplifier, on the back right edge. This item does show a few blemishes but is attractive overall and has been well cared for.

John Curl is not being arrogant when he says that he can’t think of components that give better bang for the buck than the ones he’s designed for Parasound. I can’t, either. I was surprised by the A 23’s clarity, soundstaging, and natural sound. I estimate that the combination of it and Parasound’s recently reviewed Halo P 5 preamplifier will result in sound that is unassailable in quality by any other combination of components that can be bought for a like amount.
